è un esperimento che nasce dalla voglia di indagare arte e moda nella loro relazione con il corpo.

THROUGH è l’incontro di due mondi, quello di Emanuele Gatto, del corpo quale elemento attivo, strumento che partecipa dell’opera divenendo forma e colore sulla tela, e quello del marchio Silente di Francesca Iaconisi, per cui il corpo si esprime solo attraverso il tessuto che lo ricopre, ricreando con i suoi volumi una silhouette ideale e formale.

Gli esperimenti si sviluppano partendo da un flusso di colori, forme e accostamenti sulla superficie nuda della pelle, che diviene momentaneamente il principale mezzo espressivo. Questi attraversano e imprimono trame, tessuti e tele: filtrano, si mescolano, si sovrappongono, si dissolvono. Il tessuto ne assume i caratteri e le forme, divenendo materia per la creazione futura.

is an experiment stemming from the desire to investigate art and fashion in their relationship with the body.

THROUGH is two worlds coming together: LAZAR (emanuele gatto) with the body as an active element, an instrument entirely involved in the creative outcome that turns itself into shape and colour on the canvas; and SILENTE (francesca iaconisi) with the idea of a body expressing itself only through the fabric wraping it, thus re-creating a formal and ideal silhouette in its volumes.

The experiments originate from the flow of colours, shapes and matchings on the bare surface of the skin, which temporarily becomes the main mean of expression. They cross and impress textures, fabrics and canvases. Colours filter and mix themselves, overlap and dissolve. The fabrics acquire the features and shapes of the skin, turning into material substance for future creation.
